At 08:00 you get up to three people, picked on what you have in common. One at a time, so you actually look.

No likes. Reply to something they wrote or posted. You get one hello a day, so it means something.

Nobody here juggles thirty chats. Everyone has room for three, so the people you talk to actually talk back.

Day 3: you both decide
Keep talking or end kindly, in private. You only see the outcome, and every ending comes with a goodbye.

Is Lately free?
Yes. Your three people, your daily hello, chatting, moments and every filter are free. Lately Plus adds a few extras, but it never buys more hellos, more chats or a better spot in anyone’s three.
How does early access work?
Join the list on the download page and we’ll email your invite. We open in small groups, and everyone who gets in has three invites to share with friends, so the first groups are local and full of people who know someone there.
Will I always see three people?
Up to three. If fewer people fit what you’re looking for, you’ll see fewer. We never pad it out.
What if my hello gets no answer?
It stays open today and tomorrow. After that it closes, and you see the same neutral message whether they passed or didn’t answer.
What is a moment?
One to five photos from the last seven days, with one caption. Replying to someone’s moment counts as your hello for that day. Moments disappear after a week.
Does every chat end on day 3?
No. Day 3 is a check-in. If you both choose to keep talking, the chat just carries on.
Which filters are there?
Who you’d like to meet, age range and distance. Height if you care (taller or shorter than you), and religion only if it matters to you. No filters for looks, education or income.
Where can I use Lately?
We’re starting in Amsterdam, so there are enough people near you from day one. More places will follow.
Is Lately the same as Vonk?
Yes. Vonk was our first name. If you joined the Vonk waiting list, you’re on the Lately list too, and we’ll email you when your invite is ready.
Do you sell my data?
Never. Website analytics and ad pixels only run if you say yes.
